Did you think that the human Angelina Jolie was the only super model with that name on the planet? Well, meet the super model of German Shepherds: Angelina Jolie! She goes by "Jolie" and she is the whole package. A show champion with impeccable bloodlines and temperament and stunning good looks.
Jolie has lived with her breeder all her life but unfortunately her owner is older and having health issues. She has been doing the best she can for her 2 remaining dogs, but she feels they would be better off living our their senior years in a safe, loving home.
Like any leading lady, Jolie has aged beautifully and is not quite 10. She has OFA certified hips and elbows, will be up-to-date on all shots and will be spayed prior to adoption. She should do well with another male dog with correct introductions, but no cats and no female dogs. She would adore a fenced yard to play in, lots of walks and treats and a soft bed to sleep in, after years of being in a outdoor kennel.
Jolie loves the ball, any kind of ball, and will bring it back for you to throw again. In typical female sheppie behavior, she barks a bit when she first meets you but is polite and well-mannered and will settle down quickly. She is very treat-motivated so should learn any house behaviors quickly. A perfect home will have breed experience and be able to stimulate Jolie's mind with puzzles, obedience and outings, as well as give her exercise.
The opportunities to own a dog of this caliber, a true Champion German Shepherd, are few and far between, especially via an adoption. Jolie has done so much to promote the beauty and intelligence of her breed through winning many shows - won't you reward her with a warm, safe, loving home in which to retire?
