Toffee - (Shelter A232072) (doesn't capture the beauty and intelligence of the dog) was rescued in northern rural Orange County after having been suspected of being dumped. She roamed a particular county road for a week before being secured and for Orange County Animal Services to pick her up. She was extremely friendly with kids and played with kids getting off the school bus; however, she was skittish around adults which made it hard for an adult to get close enough to tether her. She was fed well by neighbors living on the road who worked hard to keep her away from the highway and busy roads until she could be secured. She is a large, healthy looking, beautiful (not overweight - just large female) with a sweet and intelligent disposition. She had no collar and no chip. The shelter indicates she is spayed. I just want to bring attention to this special shepherd to make sure she gets a good home.
