German Shepherd Dog / Labrador Retriever : : Male (neutered) : : Young
GUS ~3-4 months old. Good with older, considerate kids, dogs and cats. Sweet Gus is a gsd/lab mix and at 3 months he’s 30lbs so he’ll be a big boy. He’s a little shy but warms up quickly if you give him a minute to be brave. He’s good with large and small dogs. Was afraid of the cat in the cat test. Probably okay with older children. The world is a scary place but Gus gets more confident each day on his walks. He sleeps through the night, hadn’t had one single accident in the house so far. He likes to chase his foster brothers and sisters but isn’t a hard mouthy player. He likes to be with you but doesn’t have any separation anxiety. He makes the most adorable scrunchy faced when he’d walks up to say hello, it’s impossible not to love him. For his age he’s a very calm, laid back boy who will make an excellent family dog. PLEASE NOTE: It is GSRA policy that we do not adopt dogs under the age of 1 year to families with children under the age of 8 years old.
