Pops, 9 year old neutered GSD, UTD on all shots and flea/heartworm meds. Heart worm negative. Pops was recently neutered, he does have skin allergies leading him to need apoquel daily and a diet with no legumes (peas, lentils, etc). He is also on fluoxetine to ease some of his general anxiety. Trazadone when thunderstorms or fireworks are expected. He is an older guy but enjoys a short stroll every day to help stretch and see the world. Pops knows how to walk on a leash very well, knows sit and lay down, and his recall is amazing! Pops is a big love monster! All 100lbs of him! He enjoys hanging out on the couch and relaxing or playing some ball in the yard. His second favorite pastime is playing with his toys and chewing a bone. He is game for anything. He is not aggressive towards other dogs, just socially awkward. He has not been around cats to my knowledge. He enjoys pets from the kids however! Strangers are good too! He is wary of hats/sunglasses, but aren’t most dogs?! I rescued him from our local kill shelter when his time was just about expired. I just had to give this wonderful boy a second chance. There is no history on him when he came to the shelter but I have 3 other dogs in the home and he is not aggressive at all. He loves everyone he meets! It has come to my attention that he would do best in an only dog home or at least a home without energetic puppies! He deserves a person of his own who will love him (and his quirks) as much as we do. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A GSRA DOG. ONLY CONTACT THIS INDIVIDUAL ABOUT THIS DOG. THE CONTACT HAS NO AFFILIATION WITH GSRA AND GSRA CANNOT ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS DOG. More about Pops (CL)Good with Dogs, Good with Kids
