GRACIE ~3 years old. Good with dogs. Good with older considerate kids. Cats TBD. Needs a companion animal. GSRA adopts to residents of VA, NC, and SC only Do you remember the song ‘Girls Just Want To Have Fun’? The name of the song fits this sweet little pumpkin pie, Gracie. She is a smaller size pup, weighing about 50 lbs but she can hang with the best of them. This sweet girl loves playing with her fur sisters and brothers. Just check out her videos. If a pup wants to play, Gracie is ready to go but she can also chill with the best of them. She also loves to play with toys. She is house and crate trained and rides well in the car. Gracie is a little love bug. She loves to be close to you and will cuddle in your lap, if you let her, or snuggle on the couch. She has so much love to give and has been waiting patiently for a wonderful family to see how special she is. Gracie was picked up as a stray when she was about 6 months old. When she first came to the rescue, she was shy and uncomfortable around people and new places. I hate to think of what must have happened to her during that time to make her that way. But that's in the past and with the help and guidance of her amazing foster mom and a wonderful trainer to show her that people and new places weren’t that scary, she is a different girl. Gracie would love a family who would be willing to be a little patient in the beginning. Just to give her a chance to know that she is in a safe place filled with love. The love you will get back will be never ending. She will need a playful companion and a fenced yard so they can run and have fun.
