Lexa will be 3 years old in January. She is a very sweet girl. She lives with her canine sibling, Lincoln. We got her one year after Lincoln and they share a lot of mannerisms. However, she is much sweeter. If you pass by her, she’ll kiss your hands and will sit at your feet wherever you go. She tends to hoard all their toys on her bed, so I’m not sure which is her favorite. She likes to lay somewhere sunny in the backyard and takes naps the house. The most active she gets is when they play wrestle or if they are chasing each other. She is an amazing walker. She doesn’t wander or pull; she’ll stick by your side and enjoy the view. During a walk if a person or other animal passes by she will alert you. So won’t try to approach them, she’ll bark and after letting her know you see them, she will resume waking normally. She is very loyal and sweet and everyone who meets her loves her. She also does well with cats (she grew up living with them), children (has been around and played with ages 1, 8, 12, 14) and other dogs (her best friend is Lincoln and they do well at dog parks and at friends’ houses). She is house and kennel trained as well. She knows what rooms and furniture they are not allowed on. Responds to basic commands. (Sit, roll over, shake, come, out, crate, stay etc). She will eat as much as you’re willing to feed her, so she gains weight quickly if you don’t pay attention. She hoards the toys which Lincoln doesn’t have a problem with, but some animals may. Her ears only really stood up as a puppy and now we only see them come up when an ambulance goes by or she just woke up. It makes her look a little wonky which we love, but we know some people find important in a German Shepherd. If possible, we really want Lexa and Lincoln to stay together. Lexa loves Lincoln. If I put her outside without him, she’ll wait by the door until he joins her. She prefers to be inside 75% of the time. She sleeps inside and if she wants to go outside, she will hit or sit next to the back door. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A GSRA DOG. ONLY CONTACT THIS INDIVIDUAL ABOUT THIS DOG. THE CONTACT HAS NO AFFILIATION WITH GSRA AND GSRA CANNOT ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS DOG. More about Lexa (CL)Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids
