Words to describe Raven: showstopper, headstrong, and determined. Raven is a beautiful, 10-months old GSD girl who is looking for an active and structured lifestyle. She has a lot of personality and likes for everyone to know it. She is crate trained and goes in willingly. She has not had an accident inside the house. She can be mischievous and gets bored easily if she has not been mentally/physically exercised. This high energy girl would become your best friend immediately and wants to be with you all the time. She enjoys a good romp with a patient dog who can handle her intensity and play. Slow introductions to all dogs would be recommended, but no small dogs for this girl! Currently, she lives with three large dogs and gets along well with them, but is a very “in your face” type of dog. She would do best in a home without small animals or small kids (12 and up preferred) due to her energy and strong prey drive. Ideally, she would prefer a yard with some social exercises as she is very vocal on the leash and has a lot of energy. Previous GSD experience would be greatly beneficial as she would not be a dog for a “first timer.” We are learning that playing fetch is a fun sport and an easy way to help drain her energy. She rides well in the car and is very friendly towards people. She thrives with routine and definitely wants to please her person. Strong boundaries and structure would help her become the best girl! If you’re looking for a fun and energetic girl that will keep you motivated to continue to learn the best ways to train a dog, she is your perfect companion! Start out by filling out an application for her at www.CFP-NC.org/adoptions to be connected to her foster! PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A GSRA DOG. ONLY CONTACT THIS INDIVIDUAL ABOUT THIS DOG. THE CONTACT HAS NO AFFILIATION WITH GSRA AND GSRA CANNOT ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS DOG. |
