NIKKO fka Nixon is a highly active gorgeous and I mean gorgeous German Shepherd. He was a stray and found himself living at a shelter. He was tested to see if he would be good in law enforcement pup but failed the "I want a ball reallllly bad" test. He is a very active fellow and wants only to please his human and sit on your lap( if you would allow him). He sticks by your side and in fact, will lean up against you as much as possible because he loves humans. He currently is getting some training in social skills (greeting with a jump). He also loves to put his paw on you just to make sure you are within reach. He is learning to be better at jumping and pawing but overall he is a big love bug. He is learning to do all his business outside. He needs additional training on a leash. He is ok with other dogs but because he so full of energy he can annoy them fairly quickly if they are an alpha-type. He would do better by himself or with a more submissive or high energy dog that is not bossy. He absolutely loves riding in cars and going on walks and runs through the woods. He does not have a lot of interest in toys and treats at this time but I believe once he finds his favorite family, he will settle in more. I would not recommend him with children because of his jumping and pawing. If you want a beautiful, loving boy that is full of energy, please check Nikko out.
