I’m at a loss and am heartbroken. For those with negative comments please don’t bother, I already feel terrible. But I am posting because I have to re-home my boy.
I rescued Rocky a few months back. I’ve came here multiple times with advice on training. He is my first German Shepherd and I love him so much. Unfortunately as I’ve previously said I can’t seem to break through to him which wasn’t a deal breaker until now. He went to attack another one of our dogs and instead grazed my brother. I know it was a high strung situation and he was just being defensive but at the same time I can’t have him attacking anyone or any other dog that was here before him. I want him to go to the best home and a steady one. Ideally this new home would be fenced in or enough property he can roam carefully. No cats Preferably no other dogs (he’s very jealous and was territorial over me) Hates tires so please be aware of this if vehicles come around. I’d hate for him to be ran over accidentally Not sure how he is with children He loves yogurt and his pool! He does really well 1:1 but distracts easily I had no intention of this as he is the biggest sweetheart and acts like he wants to learn and he has came a long way from where we started but he just isn’t transitioning well with other animals. He needs someone experienced in the shepherd field and I can’t offer him that. He is estimated to be a little over one year and is microchipped and neutered. Please only serious inquiries and understand I will not be giving him to just anyone he’s still my baby and there will be a re-homing fee, but I just want what’s best for everyone. Again, if I’m not comfortable with those inquired he won’t be going anywhere till I’m sure it’s the home for him. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A GSRA DOG. ONLY CONTACT THIS INDIVIDUAL ABOUT THIS DOG. THE CONTACT HAS NO AFFILIATION WITH GSRA AND GSRA CANNOT ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS DOG. More about Rocky (CL)Is Not Good with Dogs, Not Good with Cats
