Omen is a good natured dog who we are very sad to be re-homing. His ideal home has a lot of space to run and play, with no children under the age of 10 years. He is up to date on all vaccinations including flu, and he has a Proheart injection on board that will prevent heartworms until October of this year. Topical flea/tick prevention will be provided with him as well as food, his current rabies tag, and his microchip number which is currently unregistered and ready for a new owner to claim. He is playful and not overtly aggressive, but he makes an excellent guard dog. He boards at a facility that allows dogs to mingle and we have seen him on camera minding his own business and not causing trouble with other dogs. He gets along with our cat reasonably well.
We are re-homing him because our toddler startled him, and he snapped his jaws too close to my son's face. He has never done this before, and has always been loving to the kids, but as a mother I cannot risk this happening again and my kids getting hurt. Omen deserves a long and happy life and we can no longer provide this for him. A family without kids or with kids over the age of 10 who understand a dog's personal space will be the best home we can arrange for him.
