This is Kait. She is a 1 year old(turned 1 January 18th) GSD/Pit. I’ve been trying to find a better suited home for her and haven’t had any luck. She chases and kills ours chickens and ducks, my in laws and neighbors cats, and tries to run our hogs. She is a super sweet girl! She does great with my 3 kids and loves them, other than being too hyper for my two year old and has accidentally knocked him down the steps. She also does great with our other 2 dogs and my in laws dogs that come over to play.

I feel as I’ve failed her. When I got her, she wasn’t exactly what I was looking for for our family but she was covered in her own urine and feces, the couple was newly pregnant and didn’t have time for her with a new baby(even though the lady was only like 5 weeks along) and needed money I presume. They were her second home, and said they had got her at 5 weeks old! I couldn’t stand to leave her with them so I gave them $200 dollars and took her in, If she wasn’t a good fit then I would find a good fit for her. We headed straight to the vet. Not even 10 minutes down the road she started vomiting worms. But I got her fixed up and got some weight on her. We realized at 6 months old she had more energy than we could handle, and that she really liked chasing and killing the chickens, ducks, and cats. Our yard is fenced in with a 4 1/2 foot tall fence and she goes across it like it’s nothing.
I refuse to surrender her to our local animal shelter, or let her go to just any random person that isn’t prepared to give her the time and work she needs. I do have her vet records, she is due a booster(not sure which). I can provide more photos upon request.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A GSRA DOG. ONLY CONTACT THIS INDIVIDUAL ABOUT THIS DOG. THE CONTACT HAS NO AFFILIATION WITH GSRA AND GSRA CANNOT ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS DOG.
