Cappy is a super sweet older gal. She is a full blooded German Shepherd, and is on the larger side for a female german shepherd(Around 150 pounds) She absolutely ADORES children. She is very gentle with them, but she could knock small children over accidentally due to her large size. Cappy gets along well with most other medium-large sized dogs. I believe she would probably do well with small dogs and cats, however she had not been around them so I can not say that for sure. She does not bark very often and will come up and nudge her owner's hand when someone comes around or something is amiss.
The reason Cappy needs to find a new home, is that she has recently started dribbling/having accidents when not let outside often enough. Her owner is an elderly lady that had trouble cleaning up after her, and getting up and down to let her outside as often as she needs. The vet has given her medication for this issue, however I am have troubling finding out exactly what the diagnosis is.(I hope to figure that out soon). She was fully house trained before this issue started, so if it can be resolved she won't have accidents in the house. Her owner cares for her deeply, and is heart broken that she can not care for her the way she should be taken care of. Even though she is 10 years old, she is in GREAT health other than this one issue and it doesn't seem to be effecting her quality of life any. Please call/text or email me at kristy.n.hayes@gmail.com for more information about her. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A GSRA DOG. ONLY CONTACT THIS INDIVIDUAL ABOUT THIS DOG. THE CONTACT HAS NO AFFILIATION WITH GSRA AND GSRA CANNOT ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS DOG. More about Cappy (CL)Good with Dogs, Good with Kids
