We have owned Sam since he was 8 weeks old. He is well trained and well behaved with all things except goats. Unfortunately, even with all of our work, Sam has figured out he loves to chase and kill our goats so much, that he has progressed to entering the pasture to do so. Otherwise, we would not be trying to find him a new home. He has lived with and does well with adults, children of all sizes, elderly, and handicapped people. He does well with other dogs, horses, and cats. Will alert you when people come around or drive up, but calms down and has never bitten anyone. He sits, shakes, lays, rolls over, jumps, fetches, walks well with you, on or off leash. Listens well, unless our goats have his attention. :l My daughter was actually looking at taking him to be registered as a therapy dog to take to hospitals and such, but she got married, is in school, looking to start a family, and can not have him where she lives. Yes, he is that good...
