German Shepherd Dog : : Male (not neutered, but will be before adoption)

Leo is an extremely smart puppy that comes from a house where he learned basic commands but wasn't exposed to much else. He is bred to be trained as a protection or competition dog, so he will need to go to someone who understands the type of training and focus that he will need. He is not for a family who has never owned a German Shepherd. He will need someone who can give him the physical and mental attention that he needs. He will need to be engaged and given a purpose. He is extremely smart and attentive. If a male is around, he constantly looks to him as the Alpha for guidance and direction. I am currently working on crate and leash training him. He gets along with other dogs but has not been exposed to kids, cats, or other small animals.
