Dante is a sweet sable boy who's on the small side for a German shepherd. He is 3-5 years old, neutered, heartworm negative,
crate/house trained and walks reasonably well on the leash!

Dante is a bit shy when first meeting people. Then he smiles, leans into you and turns on the calm charm! Dante warms up quickly and would LOVE to camp out in your lap, couch whatever! Dante loves to go places in the car and is a good rider. He just wants to be near you. Such a snuggler this boy! Dante sleeps quietly all night in his crate and will wait patiently for you to let him out in the morning.

Dante needs a playmate that can match his energy level. As sweet & snuggly as he is with people....he plays long and hard with dogs. He's a fairly good player with large and medium sized dogs. He needs a doggie friend who can keep up with him in a fenced yard, then they can settle in the house awhile. Dante needs a buddy who will want to play with him, not tolerate him.

I believe Dante might be ok with cats. I haven't seen any prey drive from him. He has not reacted negatively to my cats but he has only seen them from inside a crate. Dante is a good sweet boy who needs a fenced yard, a playmate and someone who loves him. Could that person be you?
