German Shepherd Dog (long coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult : : Large
INDY ~4 years old. Good with kids and dogs. Cats TBD. GSRA adopts to residents of VA, NC, and SC only Indy is an adorable 4 y/o fluffy girl who came to GSRA after she experienced trauma to her face. She was brought to the shelter by her owner but he provided no history of what happened only "she got into something". Thank goodness GSRA took her in because Indy was suffering from ear infections in both ears, she was miserable and additionally had 2 lacerations on her face. She went to the vet and has been fixed up and she is healing nicely. And her personality is stellar despite being uncomfortable and in pain for the last year. She loves all my dogs, loves playing with toys. Loves water, going for rides and sleeping by my side. She has lost a significant portion of her hearing and may eventually be deaf but she is happy and loving and this is not a disability for her. She is housebroken too. What a great fluffy package for some lucky family. PLEASE NOTE: Indy is still undergoing medical treatment and will not be placed in a new home until she is medically cleared.
