Military PCS to Guam. Due to new and soon to go into effect, airline restrictions and United being the only US airline flying into Guam currently, we are unable to bring him with us, due only to his size. We have spent 5 months trying to find a way around this. Please understand that not taking him is our absolute last resort.

Copper is our beloved 5 year old lab(shepherd) mix. We have had him since he was 3 months old. He is at a pretty calm phase in his life now and can spend all day laying on the porch or in front of a sunny window-but also still loves going on walks/hikes, camping, chasing balls, bubbles, sticks and even playing hide and go seek. All of his vaccinations are up to date and he has no known health issues. He is on Heartguard and Bravecto (no heart-worms or fleas!!) Copper is absolutely house trained. He doesn’t get on furniture (unless he is invited onto someone’s bed.) He is good on a leash and also has never taken off when he was off a leash. He is good with kids, but sometimes forgets his size and probably wouldn’t be the best fit for someone with small children. He has become dog aggressive (due to being attacked by other people’s unleashed dogs) so he would either need someone who has good experience dealing with that, or someone who doesn’t have another dog. Ideally we would love to see him go to an active family with or without slightly older kids, in a home with a decent yard and a fence so he can just hang outside in a sunny spot and also play fetch on demand.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A GSRA DOG. ONLY CONTACT THIS INDIVIDUAL ABOUT THIS DOG. THE CONTACT HAS NO AFFILIATION WITH GSRA AND GSRA CANNOT ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS DOG.
