Meet Haley a sweet 1 year old female German Shepherd.  Haley has not had an easy start in life.  She was found wandering in a field with a bloody foot.  She was brought to the shelter and a vet found that a part of her foot had been cut off.  She was in danger of being put down so rescue took her and got her the surgery she needed to help her live a normal life.

Haley has put that all behind her and is starting a new chapter in her life.  Haley is now a happy and healthy girl.  She is a quiet girl, not a crazy puppy and loves to be pet and get attention.  Haley loves people and dogs alike, her tail is always wagging.  She would love to find a home with a family that wants a companion to love and be affectionate with.

Despite her disability Haley gets around very well.  She is getting stronger each day and runs and plays with the other dogs.  She is building up stamina and muscle tone and will continue to get better and better.  Haley will always need to be kept thin and exercised.  She is a wonderful companion and enjoys adventures.  She rides well in the car.  Haley would not be a good candidate for people who like to hike or run each day.  Because we do not know her background, we would not recommend Haley with children under 12.  Haley was cat tested and she was respectful of them but she would probably run and chase if given the chance.  So older, calmer cats might be an appropriate home for Haley.   Haley seems to be good with most dogs.  She would like a companion or companions that are not overly rambunctious.  She loves to run and chase but paw to paw combat style of play would not be a good fit for her.

Haley is spayed, up to date on shots, on heart worm preventative, crate trained, house broken and loves car rides.

Are you that special home for this very sweet girl? If you think you are, please contact Donna J. at Shepherds Hope Rescue at Bluemoonblue13@gmail.com.

PLEASE NOTE: Haley is being fostered by our friends at Shepherds Hope Rescue please click to apply for Haley.
