GSRA adopts to residents of VA, NC, and SC only

Hi my name is Yeti, and I am the sweetest boy. For some reason my owner tied me to a tree one day and then they left, but they never came back. I was so sad. And I waited and I waited and I waited and finally I realized that I needed to find a new home. So I chewed through the leash and went to someone’s doorstep and then they took me to this new place where this awesome Rescue called GSRA took me in so I could find just the right Home for me. I was so sweet that my name in the beginning was “Sweet Boy.” My foster mom says that I am super chill and laid-back when she wants me to be and great going for a run the next. I don’t chew things either. I think I would do better in a home where my mom or dad are home a good part of the day because I like being with my people. I really don’t need a companion animal, but if you have one, I would do better with a female or a submissive male. I live with a dominant female now and I'm doing great with her. I would also like a fence. A 4 foot fence is fine as I'm not a jumper, but I like doing my deeds in a fenced yard instead of on leash and I do like to romp around a little bit on a pretty day. I walk well on the leash too, and if I do get reactive here or there, I am easily corrected with an "eh eh" or a "no" command with a quick tug on the leash. I LOVE LOVE LOVE car rides and am a free roam kind of dog. I don't need a crate and I am fully house trained, and was from the start. My foster mom was super happy about that!! I already know how to sit for my food and snacks using hand signals only! I know how to "wait" when going out so my foster mom can go first. I even learned how to shake for a snack with just three tries!! I am now learning the "down" command. My foster mom says I’m super smart and sweet. I love my foster mom, but would love a home of my own, so if you think that you are a good family for me please let her know.
