Seniors are a special kind of a companion! My name is Sheba, and I'm ready to settle down in my retirement! What am I retiring from, you ask? All the crazy days of puppy-hood. Racing around the yard, wrestling, chewing on inappropriate items, and all those other puppy shenanigans are just not for me anymore. Now, don't think all I do is lay around - no sir! Under this slightly gray fur beats the heart of a champion! I still love a gentle trot around the block with you! I also LOVE to chew on an antler/horn, to cuddle, and to snooze on my dog bed. I really enjoy some tasty treats, but most of all I just want to share my love with you! I would do well with other dogs that are respectful of my space and are a little less rambunctious. So, if you are looking for a young-at-heart senior, with lots of love to give, here I am!

If you have small dogs or cats, I may not be the best dog for you.  When my Foster Mom took me to meet some cats and small dogs, my prey instinct took over, so a home with these critters won't be the best option for me!

I would also do best with someone who is home a lot, either works close to home and can check on me during the day, or some one who works form home would be fabulous!!
