Lenna is an absolute joy. Unfortunately, due to life changes and medical issues, I just can't take care of her like she needs to be cared for anymore. She was a rescue from a puppy mill. She had a very brutal first 9 months of her life. However, she is very smart, well trained and loving now. While she can be a bit intense when first meeting strangers, she becomes docile quickly. She's great with all people, kids and other dogs. I'm not sure about cats. She's only been around one and I think it was more the cat not being into it while Lenna just genuinely wanted to be friends. She will not do well in a household close to a high-traffic street or highway. She chases cars to a non-healthy obsession. She's also not a good candidate to be a 100% outside dog (especially in the summer). All that said though, she's beautiful, sweet, loves water, a great swimmer, well trained. She just needs a better home.
