German Shepherd Dog / Belgian Shepherd Malinois : : Male (neutered)

Enzo is a fantastic, active dog. He is loves people and playing with his chosen canine companions. He loves playing with his squeaky toys and bones and can occupy himself for hours on end. He is incredibly intelligent and loves learning new tricks. Currently, he knows "come," "sit," "stay," "down," "up," "paw," and "back up." He has zero fear and he would also make a great candidate for agility or scent training. In fact, he already comes with some basic training. He has infinite potential to be a skilled working dog.
Enzo is a strong, 85-lb., high-energy dog, so a fenced-in yard with daily walks/runs is a must. He is a real head-turner and every time we walk, we are stopped so that someone can pet him and comment on his good looks and obedience. He does need a strong leader and will ignore people without dog skills. He can be headstrong with the wrong owner, so he needs someone with German Shepherd or Malinois breed experience. He came to me with zero socialization skills and having spent all of his days in a crate. He does have a some anxiety, so if you were to close a door in the house between you and him, he will whine. He loves to be around his person, however, if left alone in the house when you aren't around, he will just sleep all day and wait for you to come home. He hasn't shown any signs of destructive behavior. He knows to go to his crate on command, however, he doesn't require it. Enzo requires proper introductions with all large dogs. He cannot be around any small animals, including small dogs and cats. He has a very high pretty drive, but with a proper introduction, loves to be around large dogs. Currently, he is living with a German Shepherd and a boxer and gets along with them well. Please help Enzo find his forever home! PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A GSRA DOG.
