Rory is a shepherd mix adopted from the Horry County Shelter 3 years ago. She was 9 months old so she is almost 4 years old. She is neutered and microchipped.
I will be moving in with my daughter due to financial reasons. Shepherds are on the restricted breed list so I cannot bring her with me. I'm beyond heartbroken because I am afraid to give her to just anyone. She had a history of abuse but we don't know exactly what. When we got her she was afraid of her own shadow, people and animals. She is still quite skiddish and prefers women to men but she will warm up to men if they are gentle with her. She's great with kids, other dogs and cats. She is a giant mushball and will snuggle all the time. She sleeps on the bed with me and sleeps near me while I am working. She is NOT a watchdog. She barks, but if someone she doesn't know moves toward her, she runs until she feels comfortable. She is not currently UTD on her shots.
