German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (long coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Young : : Large
TESS ~6 months old. Good with older considerate children and dogs. Cats TBD. GSRA adopts to residents of VA, NC, and SC only Tess is just shy of 6 months and house and crate trained. She has a lot of puppy left in her and will need a family who has experience with puppies especially since she can be a little stubborn at times. She is very intelligent and loving and a super cuddler. She absolutely loves playing with her foster siblings but still has to learn some proper doggie manners. The best home for Tess would be an active home because she has a lot of energy and a lot of curiosity! Tess is cautious to new people but immediately warms up. She walks great on a leash and just needs some work when she sees other dogs or people approaching. It is GSRA policy that we do not adopt dogs under the age of 1 year old to families with children under the age of 8 years old.
