SCULLY ~1-2 years old. Good with dogs. Kids TBD. Not good with cats GSRA adopts to residents of VA, NC, and SC only Hello world! Scully here, just checking in to tell you a bit about myself and see if you might be interested in giving me a forever home. As you can see from the pictures, I am a striking black and tan, with very intense eyes. I am about 1-2 years old, and am an average size female...I am about 60-65 pounds. I have a nice soft and shiny coat and very white teeth. I am a really nice girl, and have made a ton of progress with my social skills since coming into rescue (my foster mom will explain in more detail below). I am a bit timid and shy when meeting new people, especially men, but once you give me a bit of time to warm up to you, I will be your best friend. I will be you friend even faster if there are treats involved!! I am also a bit apprehensive around smaller children, the sudden movements make me a bit nervous. I need a bit of time to get used to little people! I have been pretty good around most dogs....I want to play. I am a bit socially awkward when I first get to know and interact with another dog, but I do take correction easily. I have been to doggie daycare as well. I just need someone to be patient with me and guide me to recognize different play styles and respond back appropriately. I have a LOT of energy, and love to run and play with toys! I will require a fenced yard, and the fence needs to be 6 foot tall as I am very athletic! I am a goofy girl, and have a great personality once I relax and you get to know me. I ride pretty well in the car. I am crate trained and housebroken. I know how to sit, and am eager to find a family that will take the time to work on additional training with me. Training will be very important for bonding and also to continue to build my confidence!
From foster mom: Scully is heartworm positive and will be undergoing treatment during the first week of March. She will go through recovery and be ready for her new home around the middle of April. Come meet Scully soon! She won't last long! More about ScullyGood with Dogs, Not Good with Cats, Good with Adults, Requires a yard Current Scheduled Events:
