BABY GIRL ~5 years old. Good with Dogs, Kids and Cats. Needs a companion animal.

GSRA adopts to residents of VA, NC, and SC only

Baby Girl is a white gsd and as sweet as pumpkin pie.  She has the most gentle and loving nature.  Despite her past, she loves being with her human once she knows she is safe.  She loves attention and will touch you with her paw to get some. Baby Girl has learned how wonderful life can be. She found out dog beds are pretty awesome compare to sleeping on the ground. She has also found the joy of belly rubs.  She has learned how nice going on car rides can be.  At first she had to be helped in the car but not anymore.  She can get in the car all by herself.  :~)   She loves going for walks, hikes, etc and may be a good light jogging partner.

Baby Girl is nervous when she first meets people and will shy away. She just needs some time to know that she is safe and everything is okay.  Once she does, you couldn’t ask for a dog that is any sweeter or loving.  She has done well with the dogs she has met both large and small.  She even did well when tested with a cat. :~) She is allowed to free roam the house with my other dogs while I’m at work.  She hasn’t shown any destructive behavior and hasn’t had any accidents in the house.

Baby Girl has come a long way from her first day with GSRA. She has overcome so many fears but she is still nervous of people. She will need a family who will give her the time, love and patience to adjust to a new home, learn to trust and form a bond with them.  She will need a strong gentle leader as she can become possessive of her human. I guess she is afraid she might lose them. :~( She will do better in a home with a calm, confident canine companion and a fenced yard.

Baby Girl will require a few weeks to adjust to a new home and bond with a family.  So she will need a family who can be both patient and loving with her. If given a chance she can show you what a wonderful girl she is and she well worth the effort. I wish everyone could see the sweet girl I see.

Do you have a place in your heart for this sweet girl?
