Hello! My name is Niko and I'm a striking middle-age fellow in search of a new home. Not much is known about my past, I was surrendered to the local shelter with some pretty bad skin infections. GSRA stepped in to help when the shelter told him that I was a nice boy. I have been in foster care for a couple of months now, and my skin is all better. I am a medium size boy, of about 65 pounds. I have a short coat, and I am quiet in nature. I love attention and I love to play and be near my people. I'm about six or seven years old, and still have plenty of spunk left in my step. I like to play with other dogs as well, and I'm a rough-and-tumble sort of player! I also love to run around the yard and play "tag" with my people!

I am housebroken and love my crate, but I am a bit possessive about my crate. We are currently working with some behavioral issues and would need to ensure these issues are fully addressed before going to a new home.

I am eager to please, and I love belly rubs!
