TRIGGER ~10 months old. Good with older considerate children, dogs, and cats. Needs a companion animal.
GSRA Adopts to residents of VA, NC, an SC only
Meet Trigger, a super sweet 10 month old who didn’t have the best start in life but is definitely on the right track now. Trigger spent his time in a kennel until his owners decided to “sell “ him on a yard sale site, luckily a good Samaritan picked him up and contacted us and as they say the rest is history. Trigger is a very sweet boy, he gets along with everything and everyone, he loves his humans but must have at least one canine companion (male or female) that is confident and playful so he has a role model. He loves to play and can be a little over bearing at times so a companion who can tell him enough in an appropriate way would be best. Once he’s corrected he usually settles down and chills out. Just remember he is a puppy, he likes to play, has lots of energy and is a chewer so if you have a habit of leaving clothes or toys out he will probably chew them. Trigger has been known to escape by jumping a 5 ft chainlink fence, he did not get out of a 6ft privacy fence but if this guy gets bored or is left alone the chances are high that he will escape. This is why it is imperative he have a canine sibling that likes to play that he can hang out with since he’ll usually stick with them and not go anywhere. Trigger is house trained, neutered and up to date on all his vaccines. He is crate trained but he does not like a crate and can destroy the cheaper, not well built ones. He is usually fine left in the house out of a crate but may chew, he is also fine in a crate if it’s sturdy enough that he can’t get out, he at least won’t hurt himself if you manage to contain him. Not sure why he hates it so badly but maybe he was left in one too much prior to this “good life”. Even with his puppy antics this boy is a gentle loving soul and will make some lucky family a great companion. Think you have what it takes to adopt this sweet boy?
It is GSRA Policy that we do not adopt dogs under the age of 1 year to families with children under the age of 8 years old.
