Hi! I'm Evie. I'm a 4 year old black and tan beauty! I was found wondering the streets in rural South Carolina and when my owners were contacted they said they didn't want me anymore because I kept running off around the neighborhood. Not sure what I was supposed to do since I had no fence and they just let out by myself. Well, thankfully GSRA heard about me and came to my Rescue! I am housebroken, great with kids and other dogs. My four legged foster siblings are all about my size, but my prior owner had small dogs. I love to play wrestle with my foster friends, but I am normally a very mellow dog. I love to cuddle and want to be in your lap at all times, especially with my two legged foster siblings. I am very happy being in my kennel unless I see you leave the house. I will whine until you are out of sight and then settle right back down for a nap. My favorite things are getting belly rubs and being brushed. I unfortunately have heartworms so will need to be treated and back to my healthy self prior to adoption. I need to gain a little bit of weight as well, but my foster mom is working on that. I know a few commands, mainly sit, off and leave it, but need to work on stay. Can you give me a nice bed to cuddle in and eat some yummy treats? I will repay you in love and kisses!!
