LEGEND ~7 months old.  Good with older considerate children and dogs. Cats TBD.

GSRA adopts to residents of VA, NC and SC only

Hello world, it's me Legend! I'm a gorgeous and happy seven month old male in search of my forever home. I had a bit of a rough start to life, but things have definitely improved thanks to GSRA!

When I was a young pup of three months, I suffered a broken rear leg. The next month I broke my other rear leg and damaged my pelvis. I was accidentally run over twice by the time I was four months old. It was not intentional, my original owner just wasn't very good at keeping me contained.

I am pretty much healed up now, and that all the enthusiasm and happiness and excitement that a puppy should have! I love people and other dogs, and just want to be part of the family! I love getting attention, and I'm eager to be petted. I am curious about everything, I love to sniff in the yard, Chase bugs, and explore in general! I love playing with other dogs, and I'm still learning my manners as far as how to play. I take corrections well when I get a little too rambunctious. I am still building up my muscle mass from recovering from my injuries, so I tend to tire out a little easier right now.

I am housebroken and crate trained, and just a general love bug! I have lots of love to give, and looking for a family to share my life with!

From foster mom:

Legend is a wonderful little boy. He is approximately seven months, and it's already 50 pounds. He has recovered well from his prior injuries, but will need to be rechecked at an orthopedic vet every two months until he has grown. The bed is pleased with his recovery, but since he is still growing, they need to monitor the development in the damaged pelvis area.  Legend runs around and plays just like a regular dog, however, he does have an awkward gait due to the damage he sustained.

Legend is a super sweet boy who's gonna make a great addition to some lucky family!

It is GSRA policy that we do not adopt dogs under the age of 1 year to families with children under the age of 8 years old.
