Jax is a wonderful 1 year old German Shepherd. We got him as a puppy. He has been through Off Leash Training. Our situation is this: We have a 10 year old Schnoodle who is blind in one eye. She has never tolerated Jax and continued to attack him. Jax did not respond and mostly thought it was a game. However, Jax finally began to respond back. It was not serious, and we felt that we could remedy the situation.

Jax is definitely in need of a large yard, a large sibling female dog would be wonderful. He is wonderful with children. Even our two year old granddaughter participated in his training. He obeys her as well as he does us.

Yes, he is still a puppy. He does sometimes tear things up. He is silly and affectionate. He is not the kind of dog to rough house with though. Not that Jax would hurt anyone on purpose, but rough housing makes him think aggression is okay.

We need to find someone who understands the breed. I grew up with GSD's. They are protective. But, a strong leader in the home, and proper training, is all that Jax needs.

When we had Jax, he was so well behaved, we rarely used the collar unless we were teaching him something new.

Please help me find the perfect home for Jax. He is a great dog and deserves to have a forever home.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A GSRA DOG. ONLY CONTACT THIS INDIVIDUAL ABOUT THIS DOG. THE CONTACT HAS NO AFFILIATION WITH GSRA AND GSRA CANNOT ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS DOG.
