COURTESY LISTING - Please contact person below with inquiries. ~3 1/2 years old. Good with dogs and cats. Not good with kids. Date Posted: 6/8/16 Sammy is a 3 year old, 65lb pure breed GSD. She can be registered as CKC. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on shots. She has been on Heartguard and has had yearly heartworm tests done. We have had her since she was a puppy. We love her dearly, but since we have had our daughter we have not given her the time she needs and deserves. She has gone thru training and knows a number of commands, but does need some work with distraction and she will need to be socialized with people again. She gets very stressed out in public and is cautious of everyone and everything when not in the comfort of her own home. She is okay with most other dogs. She does get toy possessive. We are not sure with food since she has been an only dog all her life. She needs a home with no small children as she has growled at our 9 month old as she crawled by her kennel. She is not going to be able to adapt fast to a new life. She will need time to get used to her new home and family. We NEED her to go to someone that is experienced with GSDs and can give her the attention and PATIENCE she so desperately needs. She will come with her kennel, food, dishes, leashes, bed, and toys.
