TRAVIS ~6 years old.  Good with older considerate children and dogs.  Good for seniors/elderly.  Needs a companion animal.  Not good with cats.

Let me introduce you to this gorgeous black and tan boy, Travis (also lovingly known by his foster family as Mr. Awesome). We call him that because every time someone ask me about that handsome boy, the first thing that comes out is ‘HE’S SO AWESOME’. lol Travis not only has the looks but the personality and temperament to match. He has a wonderful loving playful nature. I don’t think he knows what a stranger is. When we went to see the vet, he was so excited and wanted to introduce himself to everyone (people and dogs). He has a gentle nature and is wonderful with kids. He loves to run and play. He loves playing fetch and is learning to drop the ball when he returns it. Of course, I have to have another one ready to throw. :) And boy does he love to go for long walks. He would even do well as a running partner. He is wonderful in the car and you should see how his face lights up when it is time to go for a ride.

Travis is a well-mannered boy and loves to be with his family. He is left to free roam the house with my other dog while I am away. He hasn’t shown any destructive behavior. He does very well with other dogs but not so much with cats. He seems a bit too interested in them. He also has a prey drive.

Travis would do well in a home who loves doing things with their dog (walks, running, playing and car rides). He would be best in a home with a companion canine who likes to play. Definitely no cats. He would do well with older considerate children.

So what do you think?  Can you see Travis as part of your pack?
