My name is Smokey and I’m a big bundle of teenage puppy love who is looking for a forever home. I lost my first home when my human mom developed terminal cancer and now I am hanging out at a foster home looking for someone new to love. I am a neutered male, just shy of being two (1 year, 8 months) and I am 93 pounds of what we guess is a lot of German Shepard and a little Lab. I am medium to high energy dog and love to run around in the yard and go for walks, so don’t expect a couch potato! I am housebroken and crate trained (it’s not my favorite thing) so your house is safe while you’re away... But if you’d let me sleep on the bed at night, you’ll have a built in 5:30 alarm clock! I am doing okay with the three other medium to small dogs at my foster house, although playmates my own size are a good idea since I like to roughhouse. Right now my Foster Mom has no idea how I would do with small children or cats, but neither of those has perked my interest while out on walks (I do love joggers though!).
