UPDATE ADOPTED ~4 years old. Good with kids. Dogs TBD. Not good with cats. (COURTESY LISTING) Date Posted: 11/3/2014 Ace has been with a member of our family since he was an 8 week old puppy. He is in good health, well-trained, energetic but nondestructive. I am fostering him and looking for a home because I have a 12-year old Golden retriever. As I get older I prefer not to have a young dog so want to find Ace a good home. Ace had lived in a 2nd floor condo and with the family's schedule and urban area, it became difficult to give him enough exercise. He weighs 80 lbs. and needs a lot of exercise daily. He knows all his commands and follows them well - down, sit, stay, leave it, heel - when not distracted. He comes with a large soft crate which he sleeps in when I leave the house and at night. He is a great watch dog and will bark when he hears cars or visitors. He has had all his immunizations, including the rattlesnake vaccine. He eats a 2-ingredient premium dog food due his tendency toward allergies. He is great with our grandchildren an d our golden retriever.
