~1.5 years old. Good with kids and dogs. Not good with cats. (COURTESY LISTING) Date Posted: 3/23/2014 Dear browsing families, I adopted my dog at the shelter in September 2013, a quiet, loving angel that draped her paws over my knees, and that was it. . . I love her, she's my best friend. But I have accepted a job in a big city which will be very demanding of my time. And conceivably, I could possibly find a college kid to come take her out in the middle of the day. . . but I don't see her living in a tower, going down the elevator to use the bathroom all the time, living in the noise and heat, barely seeing me. So it is my very difficult decision to give her to the best home for *her*. She would do best in a home with a yard, preferably with a stay-at-home parent. She's wonderful with kids, very patient to tail-pulling and poking, always ready to lick and cuddle. 1.5 years old (as of March 2014), full size at ~46lbs, beautiful soft coat, and the picture does not do justice to her coloring. She doesn't bark much, except when really excited and playful at the dog park, and walks excellently on a leash. She knows all of the basic commands (sit, down, stay, paw [to shake hands], come), although she will need some more intermediate training, as she tends to ignore these commands when in the dog park and occupied with many distracting smells and buddies. Spayed, fully house-broken, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on all shots. I will provide her medical papers and all of her items--crate, toys, food, treats, leash, collar, bed, grooming supplies.
