UPDATE: ADOPTED
~1-2 years old. Good with kids and dogs. Cats TBD Date Posted: 9/23/2013 I found Annie in the middle of the night waiting patiently outside my neighbor's door for them to come home.....they never did. She was left behind to fend for herself and I later found out they had moved out of the apartment. I originally intended to keep her only long enough to find her somewhere else to live. But then I got to see what an incredible dog she is and I began to want to keep her for myself. She is so special it's hard for me even to describe. She talks to you (in dog language) and you can actually tell what kind of emotions she's feeling by her sounds. And she makes the most incredible facial expressions. It's like she's a person stuck in a dog's body that's the only way I can describe it. She came to me completely housebroken with not a single accident in the apartment or anywhere else that I take her. I had her sitting and laying down on command the first night she spent with me. She would make an incredible service dog and she is desperate to please me and protect me as her leader of her pack. She is not a guard dog by any stretch and can be a wuss at times. She is very playful and still very much a puppy and she's learned how to throw her stuffed animals through the air and entertain herself. She is a gentle "giant" (although she is only medium size!) and would not harm a flea. She is great with children, men, women, all breeds of dogs (she's currently living with my 4lb chihuahua) and has been around cats and ferrets but not for extended periods of time. I take her to the beach often and she loves it but is still shy when faced with new situations. She has had a very bad start in life and needs someone to help her build back up her confidence so she won't ever have to worry about being abandoned again or mistreated. I am searching for her forever home because I can't give her what she deserves. She needs good w alks each day and a playmate to live in the same house she does. I can't give her those things. I live in a tiny 1 bedroom and she needs a big fenced in yard to run and play in. She loves to run and when we go to the beach I let her off the leash with no problems. All I do is whistle and she comes running back. She is an angel and I am willing to keep her as long as it takes to find the right home. Whoever ends up getting her will find out very quickly just how lucky they are. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A GSRA DOG. ONLY CONTACT THIS INDIVIDUAL ABOUT THIS DOG. THE CONTACT HAS NO AFFILIATION WITH GSRA AND CANNOT ANSWER QUESTIONS. IF YOU NOTICE CONTACT INFORMATION FOR THE POSTER HAS BEEN REMOVED, THIS MEANS THE PUP IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE.
