Lexi is a stunning petite sheppie and as sweet as pumpkin pie. Now I haven't done a taste test (lol) but she is the sweetest thing. She loves being with her family and will happily jump on the couch to snuggle with you. She loves to give kisses and loves to roll over for belly rubs. She loves to go for car rides and rides like a dream. All you have to do is open the car door and up she goes. She loves to go for walks, running in the field and enjoys being outside. Once we get back from our walk, the first thing she does is get in the kiddie pool. So I’d say she enjoys the water as well. ;) Lexi walks very well on a leash and will sit politely when asked. She even takes treats gently. Lexi enjoys playing with her toys and running after them when thrown. She will even bring them back (sometimes) if you have another one to throw. :-) She has done well using the doggie door to come in/out as she wants. She is always very excited to see her family when we return. This little girl is loving, playful and a bundle of pure delight.

Lexi lives with two canine foster brothers and does very well with them. They are all left to free roam the house when I'm gone. She is a little nervous when she first meets a new dog and will growl. Normally after a short walk together she does fine. I believe she needs to know they don't mean her any harm. I'd might be a little nervous too if I was her since she is smaller than a normal size sheppie. She will do better with a calmer, more easy going dog.

Now Lexi does have a bit of anxiety when she is left ALL alone. She does have the potential to get destructive if she is shut up in a crate or behind a closed door all by herself. She does okay as long as she is with her human or canine. So she will require a canine companion. I’m gone for work approx. 11 hours and she hasn’t shown any destructive behavior when I leave her with her canine foster brother.

Lexi will do best in a quieter home setting, with a strong leader and a calm dog. She just wants someone who can love her and know that she is safe. The love you will get in return is never-ending.

Lexi was originally rescued from a kill shelter. She found her forever home a couple of years ago but some unforeseen circumstances arose and she came back to the rescue. Because once a GSRA dog always a GSRA dog. Lexi has done very well settling in her foster home and is now ready to find her forever home.

So do you think this little white bundle of delight is the right fit for your home!
