UPDATE: ADOPTED ~9 months old. Good with kids and dogs. Cats TBD. Date Posted: 8/15/2013 Introducing handsome Scholtz whose rescue story is nothing short of miraculous and a testament to the intelligence and irrepressible spirit of the German Shepherd. His rescuers are so impressed with Scholz that they are committed to finding him the forever home that will enable him to realize his full potential--and from what they can tell, Schotlz's potential is unlimited. He is extremely smart and learns quickly. He is dog friendly, with no evidence of food or toy aggression. He is somewhat timid around people, but has been receiving a lot of socialization since joining his foster family. He is fully vetted and HW negative. To ensure that Scholz will never end up in the circumstances in which he was found, his rescuers have arranged for him to receive a week of obedience and E-collar training courtesy of the Dog Wizard of Greensboro to end on 8/23, after which he will be available for adoption. If you are the right forever family for Scholtz, you will be adding a wonderful, devoted, and well-trained new member to your family. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A GSRA DOG.
