~5 years old.  Good with older consderate children and dogs.  Cats TBD.

Meet Miss Molly, aka Molly II as we have another Molly already in the rescue.
Everyone who has ever met Molly is SURE she is hiding thumbs somewhere in her front paws. :-) It is a good thing she uses her powers for good instead of evil....LOL!

She is super smart and sassy in a very fun way. She will try to get away with things but in a playful manner. She does need limit setting at times but she is very respectful with her humans.  Once boundries are established, she is respectful with him and plays nicely wiht her foster brother.  It is mostly when at play that she tries to act uppity sometimes and gets put back in her place. It is almost like she is just now learning how to "speak and understand dog."

She is vocal when she sees other dogs and when she is excited. She barks when she knows she is going on a walk or when she is waiting for you to throw her toy for her. She is definitely talking to you :-) She is highly sensitive to human emotions, more so than any GSD I have met. She will react to your feelings and the energy of the situation very quickly and accurately so care will be needed to keep her calm before walks etc.

She needs exercise every day. A nice walk and some play time with her favorite ball or toy would be ideal. She would be great as a running or jogging companion and I am guessing could put in some miles. She loves to play catch with soft balls too.

She is a sofa surfer....we are trying to break her of that. She is crate trained but prefers to be loose in the house. She has shown no destructive tendencies.

She is sweet and spunky and smart. She is silly and sassy and daring. For example, she will sit and wait like an angel on the steps to be let in the front door after a walk- making full eye contact with you and giving you her full attention, but once released, she may circle around to quickly grab a toy you didn't even know you left outside, before darting through the door.

She knows: Sit, wait, shake, off, go home, catch, come.

Molly came into the rescue in August. She was an owner surrender, so unlike many of our adoptable dogs, we have her full medical records. That being said, she entered the rescue severely underweight and with terrible ear infections in both ears. Both these conditions are on the mend though. Her ears are healthy and clean and her weight is up and her muscles are building nicely.
