Doopsey was saved from a very high kill shelter at the last moment. She had such sweet and pleading eyes that it was impossible to leave her there. Doopsey is not a German Shepherd, but is 100% adorable. She looks like a mini-shepherd. We think she may be an Australian shepherd or some mix of that nature. Doopsey is about 2-3 years old, and is a medium size girl of approx 40 pounds.
Doopsey is very sweet and affectionate, and submissive in personality. She is not scared or timid, but is definitely willing to let anyone else be in charge. She loves to be near her people, and likes to curl up on the couch with you and snuggle. She loves to sleep in the bed as well. Doopsey just loves her people, and wants to be close. If you are busy in the house, she will happily curl up on a dog bed and wait until you are ready to give her some attention. Doopsey gets along great with the other dogs in the household. She is very submissive to them as well, and loves to curl up and sleep beside them.
I cannot say enough good things about Doopsey, but you really need to meet her to see what a radiant personality she has. She has the brightest and most expressive eyes. She does seem a bit camera shy. Her ears stand up most of the way, with just the tops tipping forward giving her a very endearing look. Doopsey will make an excellent addition for some lucky family. Doopsey is house broken, crate trained, great on leash and rides well in the car. Doopsey is just a very happy girl, and is eager to experience all that life has to offer. She is eagerly awaiting the opportunity to join her furever family. Come meet Doopsey soon, she won't last long!!
