German Shepherd Dog (medium coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Young : : Large
~1 year old. Good with older considerate children and large male dogs. Not good with cats, female dogs or small dogs. Baxter is a big, lanky, lovable 17 month old boy who was an owner surrender. He does have a high energy level and plays pretty rough. He gets along great with my other male Shepherd, but has a guarded relationship with an older female I'm fostering. It would be best if he went to a family who had another large male dog. He is smart, crate trained (loves his crate), obeys basic commands and is house broken. He would do well with high energy, rough-housing playfyul males. He interacts extremely well with people. He has a gentle mouth and is very affectionate. And like some dogs, he hates a bath!
