~2  years old. Good with submissive male dogs and older considerate children.  Also apartment appropriate

Introducing Jenny a sweet girl that was originally found wondering in the woods. Jenny has had several homes since she was born and her last owner had to give her up due to illness. Because of her history it is important that we find Jenny her final forever home.

Jenny is petite, weighing in at 42 pounds and has pretty blue eyes. She has lots of energy, loves to fetch the ball and play a good game of tug of war with her toys. Jenny will make you laugh with her antics. Jenny needs to learn her manners, however Jenny has been very responsive to training and has learned to sit for her food and give paws for her treats. She will need someone who will continue to set boundaries and limitations even though she looks at you with those adoring eyes.

Jenny loves to run in the yard with her foster brother and they have established a strong bond. Jenny comes when called, enjoys her car rides and does well walking on a leash. Having a male canine sibling that is not overly dominant would ease her transition to her forever home and would be a great outlet for her energy. Jenny should not be paired with an alpha female. Jenny is now crate trained.

On the first day in foster care Jenny was very submissive and had some submissive urination. As she became more comfortable submissive urination was not a problem, and there are techniques to prevent this when meeting Jenny for the first time.

Jenny loves to be in the same room with her family and keeps herself busy with her toys. Jenny would do well with older considerate children or a household without children. Jenny would love to have a friend to play with but would also be happy as a single dog as long as she had lots of exercise. If you are looking for a small dog that loves to cuddle and looks at you in an adoring manner then Jenny is the dog for you.
