Update 1/3: Sampson is on trial, but will be staying in foster home until heartworm treatment is finished. UPDATE 11/3: Hey folks, just in time for cold wintry weather we have your 'green' energy efficient bed warmer, no need for batteries either! Sampson is a proven heart melter and feet warmer. He continues to be great with my kids and is just lookin to share the love and a soft bed! Meet tall dark and handsome, Sampson. He is a big fuzzy beast looking for love. Sampson is a great guy that was adopted through our rescue many months ago but now finds himself looking for a new place to call home due to difficulties that have nothing to do with him. He was only about 6-8 months when he first came through so we are guessing he is 1-1.5 years now. Sampson is a very big boy and isn't afraid of anything but he is full of love for all humans big or small. He has been in a loving home for quite some time so is completely house-trained and enjoys all the comforts of being inside such as sleeping on the bed. He has not displayed any destructive behavior, storm phobia, or separation anxiety. He has lived with a pack of three other dogs both large and small and was a friend to all. His best friend was a male Golden Retriever. He is currently residing with another giant shepherd that is a female and they are getting along wonderfully and they spend alot of time chasing each other, playing tug-of-war, and wrestling. Sampson seems a little too interested in my cat. As a matter of a fact I tried introducing them today and he was so absorbed in staring at the cat he seemed to not notice me stacking dog treats on his head or sticking one between his jowls and teeth. I'd say he needs to go to a cat free home. Sampson is living with three children ages 5-9 and does splendid. He is not a gentle giant as he will try to jump when first meeting anyone and he doesn't seem to realize quite how big he is when he brushes by you or tries to get in your lap.
