I am in a hard place. After my separation and pending divorce I have had to move back in with my parents. They've been patient with my German Shepherd mix, but there simply isn't enough room here. With a very heavy and broken heart I have to give up my dog. I am very fearful of sending him to the county shelter here as they are a kill shelter. Cian deserves better. He's still young and has such a great outlook. He's sweet, playful, and loyal to the end. I have raised him since he was 5 weeks old and he has become a part of me. Sadly, I just can't keep him here. It's not fair to him and he deserves a place to run and be him. He enjoys fetch, tug of war, chasing little red pointers and of course his own tail. I really want him to have a good chance at life and it's not something I can provide him with any longer. I had contacted my ex about taking him in, but he's leaving for Korea as per his army orders.
