Katie is a very alert, active, beautiful shepherd. She likes to stick with you and be where you are. She is well mannered and her favorite reward is playing fetch with a tennis ball. She would do that for hours on end if you keep it up. She has all her shots and has been spayed. She has always been around children and generally does well wtih other dogs. We have not had her around cats but I think she would be curious then indifferent. Squirrels or rabbits are her weakness and if she sees those she wants to give chase but she is good about coming back when I call. I have taken her on long walks in the woods off-leash.
She is lean and on the light side - about 50 lbs. Would be ideal for an active family or somewhere where she had room to run and chase squirrels with all her energy. She was just separated from her sister for the first time so plenty of attention or companion dog would be great.
