Wendy is a sweet young dog that recently had a litter of puppies. She is being fostered by All Breed Animal Rescue of the Carolinas and is available for foster/adoption. She was pulled from a rural high kill Animal Control facility only 4 days before giving birth to a litter of nine. She was very thin, covered in fleas and ticks, but miraculously heartworm negative. Her current foster home is overwhelmed with raising the litter (who all need homes) as well as the mother, but Wendy has made it easy with her gentle personality. She needs a good home with someone who can love her as much as she will love them, which is a whole lot! She loves men and women, other dogs, and cats too. She has not been around children but her foster mom is sure she will be just fine with them too. Her favorite way to give affection is to bury her head in a person's lap and lean in for petting. She is playful, loves toys, is well behaved for walks and would make a good walking/jogging partner. She needs to be with people and does not do well confined away from them for large periods of time. If her new home has a fenced in yard, it needs to be at least a 6 foot privacy fence-style since she can climb chain link.
