German Shepherd Dog : : Female (spayed) : : Young
(1 1/2 years old) This poor little girl was found on the street - nothing but skin and bones and having just given birth to a litter of puppies. Jasmine is a VERY petite girl - only 40 pounds and only about 20 inches to the shoulder. She is as sweet as can be. Jasmine LOVES attention and LOVES to cuddle. Jasmine is usually right by me when I'm sitting down. If allowed, Jasmine would LOVE to snuggle up to you in bed !!! She really wants to please people and be a good dog. She is house trained and is great in the house even when left alone (with her foster brother !) She is VERY well behaved - a lot of times she will just lay right by you and watch what you are doing. She sleeps through the night and doesn't get up until we do. Jasmine REALLY likes children and LOVES playing with other dogs. She can play a little rough though, which could set off a dominant/aggressive dog. She tends to nip at the other dogs heels and legs. She loves playing chase with other dogs, wrestling with them and playing tug-a-war with toys. Jasmine is an experienced traveler - she will not get in the car until she pees first !!!!! Then she settles right down for the trip and rides great ! Jasmine LOVES to go on walks (although she does tend to pull on the leash). Loud noises and thunderstorms do not seem to bother Jasmine at all. She LOVES to snack on whole raw carrots. But she is VERY neat - she will clean up all the carrot crumbs when she is done !!!!!! Jasmine absolutely loves to have her chin and neck scratched. She will even bend her head backwards so it is easier to scratch !!! ( see picture below !!!) She is SOO cute !!!
