Hello......my name's Loki.... and I'm looking for a home. I've been looking for a while, since I was born actually. Me and my brothers and sisters were born into the GSRA foster system after Mommy came into the rescue and they realized she was pregnant with all of us. Unlike a lot of the dogs I meet at the events, my life has been pretty great so far. Right from the time I was born I've been loved and cared for  - I don't know what it means to be hungry, or scared, or lonely. I'm lucky, aren't I?
People tell me that I'm a really good looking boy. I never met my Dad, so I am not sure what kind of dog he is, but I think he was big.. . and I think he had lots of wrinkles on his face...oh, and floppy ears.... at least, I am guessing that's what he looks like because me and my brothers and sisters all look like me, and nothing like Mom, who is a pure GSD. It doesn't really make any difference who my Dad is, 'cuz I've been raised by GSD foster sisters and so being a GSD is really all I know. I'm athletic like a GSD and alert and very, very smart. I love running and playing...oh and swimming...I REALLY love swimming. My human Mom has a pool, and when she swims laps I swim with her. No one had to show me how to do this either, I've just always loved the water. My first foster Mom told me that, when it rained, I'd stand outside and bark at the rain drops and puddles...I guess it's a water thing.
I love other dogs and I especially  like  playing ball, wrestling, or just sleeping. I think I will always like living with other dogs. Sometimes I can get a little shy, and it really helps to have another dog by my side to show me the ropes . I've heard all about cats and I think I'd really like them too. I'm not saying I wouldn't chase them, I've heard they run really, really fast and that sounds like an awful lot of fun to me...but I don't think I would hurt them.... I don't think I would hurt anything actually, I'm just not that kind of dog.
I know I don't look like a lot of the dogs in GSRA, and I reckon that's why my forever family hasn't found me yet. But even if my GSD looks are a little weak, I've got lots more to offer. I'm a really good boy, I know how to walk on leash, I like staying in my crate, I never go potty inside and I don't bark a lot - but I will let someone outside know that I am inside...I've heard that's another GSD thing...being a good watch dog. When we first meet each other though, I'll probably act a little shy and reserved. It's not you...it's me...that's just how I am. But once I warm up I'm a lot of fun and very sweet.

So that's pretty much it. I'm just a typical 10 month old puppy, with lots of charm and personality ,
