Hi friends, my name is Walter, or Waltie, Sweet Boy and Little Man . The nice people at the shelter helped me and my sissy move to gsra to start a better life. I love my sissy but foster mama says I need to learn to be a confident boy on my own and not rely on sissy to be brave. Boy that’s hard work but I’m learning to be strong, I get to visit sissy most days and then I go home to play with my foster brothers and sisters. Foster mama says I’m a chunky boy, does that mean I’m FAT??surely not!! It must be my glorious soft, thick sable coat that gives me my curves. So let me tell you a little about me. I’m going to be a smaller sheppie when I finish growing, I love to run and play, I wrestle with my foster sister and then curl up on a dog bed or in my crate for a nap. I do like my naps, I hope that they will help me grow big and strong. I’m a super smart boy, you should see how perfectly I sit and wait for a door to open. I sleep quietly all night long, I’m house trained, I’m an angel in the car, even though it’s not my favorite place to be. Leash walking is a little scary but I practice every day. My favorite things are breakfast, dinner and snacks. I like to chew on bones and am very calm in the house. I’m a little shy when I first meet new people but bring along some of my favorite things (snacks) and I’ll quickly decide I like you. I don’t like being by myself so I will need a confident doggie brother or sister in my forever home. I would love a fenced yard so I can explore and find the perfect sun spot for a nap. Come meet me soon so I can show you how cute I am, and bring snacks, and I don’t mean the cheap nasty dry dog biscuits – you’ve got to break out the good stuff - trust me, I’m worth it. See you soon. Walter.
